For those who are not familiar with this brand - it is an Italian company, founded in 1927 by Salvatore Ferragamo. He started his business making women’s footwear and raised it to a worldwide famous luxury brand, known for its classic and sophisticated designs.

Couple of year ago I bought a very beautiful vintage bag. It was absolutely stunning - a timeless piece for any bag addict collection.

But...I sold it. YES, I know what you're gonna say. Don't even ask why...I has no answer to this question.

This winter I decided to buy this bag again. I was searching for this bag for two months and then I found a very pretty vintage crossbody.

I was in such a hurry when purchasing it (it was a good deal) that I did not properly checked all the details and clicked on a BUY button. When I opened the parcel with this bag I understood right away that it was a fake. Just as soon as I touched it - the leather did not feel right. However the bag looked fine. I mean it had a serial number and many details like other vintage bags usually have.

But when I saw the lining.. It just screamed that the bag was FAKE. It said something like "Salatoe" Ferragamo. Just look at this picture.

So, it was my first meeting with a Salvatore Ferragamo VINTAGE fake bag. I came across a lot of Dior, Fendi, Chanel vintage fakes in my practice and honestly I didn't expect that this particular bag might be NOT AUTHENTIC.

However, it happened to me. So, I just want to warn you (as always): please do double-check all the details. If you want to purchase a vintage piece, look through all the additional photos of similar bags. Do not hurry)
